Visit of the eTwinning National Support Service to the IES de Poio

On Friday 17th,  Annette Westerop from the Spanish National Support Service of eTwinning visited the IES de Poio

In the morning,  some students who take part in the project  told her about their involvement in the project and explained  some of their experiences: the travels, the ICT lessons in the Czech Republic and Poland, the language lessons in Italy and Greece, the Facebook of the project, the collaborative paddlets  and the forums on the Twinspace...

Annette, students and teachers tried the tourist guide quiz to check our level of knowledge on all the touristic information about EUR (Rome),  Kalamata, Pribram, Radom and Poio presented by our Tourism for teenagers guidebook.

Collaborative work among the students on eTwinning

As for our eTwinning project, communication and interaction among the partner schools is necessary for them to get to know each other, work, share results and/or make decisions together as they carry out the different tasks of the project. 

This criterion evaluates the quality of the communication activities that the teachers design for/with their partners and students with the purpose of sharing the work done on the topics involved in the project. 

 We are working on the twinspace using the foros after the transnational meetings 

We are also  writing on the four  collaborative padlets 
“What have I learnt from this project?”, 
“What is worth experiencing in the areas involved in the project?” 
“How has the project changed my live?”.

To write on the padlets you only have to double click on the board and write (or upload images, videos)

Diffusion and dissemination of the results through eTwinning

eTwinning offers a free and safe platform for teachers working in a school in one of the European countries involved (EU member states and Croatia, FYROM-Macedonia, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey), to communicate, collaborate, develop projects, share and be part of a big European learning community. The eTwinning action promotes school collaboration in Europe through the use of Information and Communication Technologies by providing support, tools and services for schools.

In addition to the dissemination and difussion of our project in parents´meetings, teachers´ meetings, among other principals and teachers from other schools, the  local newspapers and media , the town halls, etc, we are taking advance of the eTwinning platform in order to spread the word about our project Tourism for teenagers
